Take advantage of an introductory life insurance policy offered to eligible NEA members. Issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential), this is an exclusive program for NEA members and fully paid for by the NEA Members Insurance Trust.

  • For 12 months, eligible NEW members are provided complimentary $15,000 of term life insurance*
  • Following the complimentary one-year period, members will be able to continue their coverage at lower member-only rates, even into retirement†
  • No evidence of insurability required

How It Works

Take advantage of your introductory life insurance

Register today

  1. Make sure you’re logged into your NEA Member Benefits account. Register for or update your Introductory Life Insurance by clicking on the “Name Your Beneficiary” button.
  2. Once you register, you will receive hard copies of all official information for your records. Claims can be processed by calling the Member Advocacy Center at 855-NEA-LIFE.
