overview
The NEA Accident and Injury Insurance Plan, an Accident coverage issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America is affordable insurance coverage for unexpected and costly expenses incurred by accidental injury.
how it helps
Visiting an emergency room can cost between $1,200 to $1,300.** Family Standard coverage costs less than $12 a month and can help you manage these unexpected medical expenses.
The NEA Accident and Injury Insurance Plan offers a choice of two benefit plans—Enhanced and Standard.
Coverage helps pay for medical services (X-rays, Emergency Room visits, physical therapy, etc.) and equipment (canes, walkers, etc.) often not fully covered by health insurance.
The Accident and Injury Insurance Plan pays out a benefit whether or not other insurance pays a benefit, including disability and workers’ compensation. Payment is based on proof of treatment, not proof of diagnosis, and rates are not age-based.
